National Voter Registration Day

The Reading Public Library is partnering with Town Clerk Laura Gemme to register people to vote or check your registration status.
With all of the attention and enthusiasm around the flurry of state and local elections in 2026, there’s never been a better time to plan ahead and make sure you’re ready to hit the polls once you’ve taken that first crucial step of registering to vote.

Vote by Mail Application Deadline:
5 p.m., October 27
Early Voting Period:
October 17-30
Election Day Polling Hours:
7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
