This virtual author talk will focus on their Korean folklore-inspired young adult novels and more!
Did you love K-Pop Demon Hunters and are itching for more fusion between classic Korean myths and modern day storytelling?
Prairie Schooner Book Prize winner Jihyun Yun (And The River Drags Her Down) and Freeman Award-winner Ryan Estrada (Good Old Fashioned Korean Spirit), will Zoom in to discuss our favorite myths, how they inspired our books, and answer patron questions. We'll discuss everything from tigers to tokkaebi and share our love of the stories that captivated Korea for thousands of years.
We'll be raffling off a copy of each of their books after the program. Anyone who attends virtually will be eligible to enter and can pick up their copy at the library.
