David Havelick, Board Member of the Boston Vegetarian Society
David Havelick, Board Member of the Boston Vegetarian Society and Associate Director in the Harvard Office for Sustainability, will be joining us to discuss how our food system is contributing to climate change and what we can do about it. Grounded in the latest science, he will share some of the latest challenges and solutions.
In addition, he will provide concrete recommendations for how we can all contribute to a healthier and more sustainable food system that will ensure we pass on a livable planet to future generations.
The talk will be one hour (including Q/A), with light planet-friendly refreshments to follow.
