All community members are warmly invited to join us at the RMHS Performing Arts Center for this annual event honoring the life and actions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This free event is open to everyone.
Enjoy complimentary breakfast, view student artwork, and visit tables hosted by local community groups.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Robert Bellinger, PhD.
Dr. Bellinger teaches African American and American history, African Diasporan studies, and the history and culture of Senegal at Suffolk University, with research interests including late 19th-century African American history and West African drum traditions. He is deeply involved in training student teachers, working on the inclusion of African and African diasporan history into school curricula, and developing study abroad programs that provide students with international, cross-cultural academic experiences.
