4-Part Series: Tuesdays, May 6, 13, 27, & June 3
Mental Health First Aid for Adults is skills-based training that teaches people how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge. First Aiders will learn how to help in crisis and non-crisis situations and understand where to turn for additional assistance.
The course will be taught by Taunya L. Jarzyniecki, a Credentialed Instructor at the National Council on Mental Wellbeing and the Reading Public Safety Clinician. Participants must attend all four sessions on Tuesdays, May 6, 13, 27, and June 3 from 5:30-8:00 pm at Reading Public Library to become certified as a First Aider.
For questions about the workshop, please contact Taunya Jarzyniecki, (781) 942-6795, clinician@ci.reading.ma.us
