The Men and Women of Reading & North Reading Who Served in World War II
For five years now, Autumn Hendrickson has been working on a project (with the aim of publishing 5 books, one for each year of World War II) to tell the stories of every individual from Reading and North Reading that served in World War II. Whether they were born and raised in either community, or moved here after the end of the war to raise their families, they were instrumental in the development of the community we know and love today. During her presentation, Autumn will be sharing more stories of Reading service members, and providing a sort of update on where her project currently stands, five years in.
Autumn Hendrickson is a 2020 graduate from RMHS and a 2024 graduate from Endicott College, studying English Secondary Education. She has spent the last five years researching the men and women from Reading and North Reading, Massachusetts that served in World War II.
