Get crafty with RPL's Community Craft Swap! Jump on spring cleaning, clear out your arts & craft-supply clutter and discover new hobby and craft items, all for free, during this creative swap event!
Calling all crafters! Need to make room in your craft area? Want to try out a new craft without making a big investment? Want to donate items in a sustainable way?
Bring new or gently used arts & crafts materials to swap for new-to-you supplies! Donations are not required to participate. Only arts and crafts-related items will be accepted (please, no office supplies). Suggested items include yarn, decorative paper, fabric, paints, beads, crafting tools, etc.
HOW IT WORKS
Donations accepted: Saturday, March 1, 2025 - Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 3pm.
Donation Drop-off: Bring up to two (2) bags to the Reference Desk on the main floor of the library during library hours, or to the Community Room on the Ground Floor until 3pm on the day of the swap (Sat. 3/15). DO NOT leave donations in any other location inside or outside of the building or in the book drop!
Who can participate: Don’t have any supplies to donate? You are still welcome to attend! All participants can fill up to two (2) bags while supplies last; if you are seeking more items, you must wait until after 3PM. After 3 PM, you can take as much as you like! Please bring reuseable bags to take items with you!
The Craft Swap will be held in the Ground Floor Community Rooms:
12:00-3:00 pm, Saturday, March 15
