Learn about how to talk to medical providers, make important health decisions, and how to get important health resources in this discussion about health information with health literacy experts.
Health literacy is about communicating health information in ways that all of us can understand. This includes talking with medical providers about our health concerns, participating in treatment decisions, and confirming that we understand and can follow medical instructions.
Libraries can help support your healthcare decision-making by providing you with quality, actionable information. Learn more about what Reading Public Library and the National Library of Medicine has to offer for patients and caregivers.
