Join professional speaking coaches from Redwood Speaking to learn the art of powerful storytelling and successful public speaking. This workshop will be offered twice: Mon., 7/28 & Tues., 8/12, 7-8pm.

Do you have a compelling story to tell? Want to bring your writing from page to stage? Improve your public speaking skills?

Join Moth Story Slam winner Theresa and professional speaking coach Jen from Redwood Speaking as they share: 

  • The importance of grounding in public speaking
  • Essential components of a story arc
  • How to tell a compelling story for a particular audience
  • General public speaking skills important to storytelling including: power of the pause, filler words, stage presence and body language.

This workshop will be offered twice: Monday, July 28, and Tuesday, August 12, 7-8 pm.

Use skills from this workshop to present at Reading Voices: Telling Your Story, right here at RPL on August 23rd!

Attendees will receive an extra raffle entry for a chance to win a summer reading gift card to a local business.
