Who They Are and Why You Need One
Loni-Anne Sanford-Wilson, a Postpartum Doula and New Parent Educator trained through CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), will offer an informative session and Q and A for new parents and parents-to-be. Loni is a Reading resident and owner of DouLaLaBoston. Her hope is to build connections and provide support/resources in our community. As part of this special event, Loni will share insights from her own complicated postpartum recovery and lead a forum for new parents and parents-to-be to discuss any questions/topics related to the postpartum period, including how postpartum doulas can help families in their homes in the weeks and months after baby's arrival.
As an added bonus, the Town of Reading Public Safety Clinician, Taunya Jarzyniecki, will be joining us to share the resources the town has to offer new parents and families.
