The Reading Public Library can assist you with downloading and printing tax forms. We receive a limited supply of the Federal and state forms in mid-January. Items will be put out as they arrive. The library usually receives:

Appointments at the Reading Public Library are schedueld for Wednesdays starting February 11, 2026 through April 8, 2026. Other days and locations available.
Potential clients must bring all income forms received for 2025 income including 1099’s, social security statement and brokerage statements, health insurance cards, social security cards, last year’s tax return and a photo ID, and a list of any cash donations.
People filing for the Circuit Breaker credit will need to bring any property tax statements and water bills. Renters should bring proof of the rental amount paid out of pocket, and the name and address of their landlord.
The IRS will no longer accept checks for taxes due, nor will they issue refund checks. Clients should bring a blank check to facilitate direct deposit. Volunteers can assist with electronic funds withdrawal free of charge for those who may owe tax.
