Join us for The Joy of Journaling, with award-winning author Jason M. Rubin, whose decades of journaling have helped his own writing and expression, while providing creative therapy.
In this hands-on 90-minute workshop, Jason will talk about the benefits of handwritten communication in an increasingly digital world, what journaling means and its benefits, and helpful tips for effective journaling. Participants will hear some journal entries, be invited to write their own and share in a safe and comfortable space and will receive prompts to leave inspired. Those new to journaling and more experienced are all welcome to join this fun hands-on exercise.
Participants are encouraged to bring a blank notebook or journal of their choice. The library will have additional materials available.
Registration is encouraged, but not required.
This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library. Thank you!
