Zines for Teens Drop-In
Tuesday, June 23
3:00pm - 4:30pm
Reading Public Library
StudioCreate your very own zine!
What is a zine???
A zine, short for fanzine or magazine, is a DIY self-publication, usually made on paper and reproduced with a photocopier or printer. Zine creators are often motivated to share knowledge or experiences with people. Zines are perfect for doing just that!
Teens entering grades 6-12 will learn how to create different types of zines. Writing prompts and supplies will be provided to help get the creative juices flowing.
With permission from each teen, completed zines will be collected at the end and kept in the teen room for other patrons to look at.
A zine creation station will be set up in the Teen Room this summer. Teens can drop in and make whatever zines they'd like!
